Street Sweeping

Burrtec Waste provides the street sweeping of public roads under their Franchise Agreement with the City.  The streets are swept not only for aesthetic reasons, but to prevent debris from being washed from the gutters into the storm drains which flow into the Mojave River Bed.

Street sweeping occurs twice per month the day AFTER your trash/recycle is picked up

To do your part, please review the sweeping schedule below for your neighborhood / route. Please remove any vehicles parked on the street on your scheduled day in order for the sweeper to do a thorough sweeping of the streets and gutters.  Contact Burrtec Waste directly for questions/concerns at 760-256-2730 or City of Barstow at 760-255-5126.
