Parking citation payments are accepted at the Police Department. Payments by check or money order can be mailed to the Barstow Police Department, Attention: Records, 220 E. Mountain View St., Suite B, Barstow, CA 92311.

Payments are due 21 calendar days from the date of issuance. Payments are to be postmarked on or before the due date in order to be paid on time.

A courtesy reminder notice will be mailed to the registered owner of record.

Contesting a Citation

You may contest a parking citation by the following process:

STEP 1
Request an administrative review in person, via mail or by telephone at (760) 255-5112. This request must be made within 21 days of the issuance of a notice of parking violation (citation) or within 10 days of the mailing of the notice of delinquent parking violation. If applying by mail the following documentation must be presented at the time the request for an Administrative Review is submitted:

A copy of current California driver’s license or identification card; or current out-of-state driver’s license or identification card; or other valid form of government issued identification (i.e. passport).

**If you disagree with the results of your administrative review, you may request an Administrative Hearing before a Hearing Officer by following STEP 2**

STEP 2
A request for an Administrative Hearing  must be made within 15 days of the mailing of the results of the administrative review in person or by calling (760) 255-5112.
