Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis is well-known in Barstow as a business owner, former Planning Commissioner, co-founder of the Barstow Boys & Girls Club, volunteer for numerous local organizations, and was elected as City Treasurer in 2012.

Mr. Lewis is a true Barstonian. Born at Barstow Hospital and raised in Barstow, Lewis attended Cameron, Barstow Junior High School, Kennedy High school and then Barstow High and graduated an Aztec. He then continued his education at Barstow Community College and transferred to Cal Poly Pomona where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

He began working in the family business when he was 12 and continues be a successful businessman and public servant for the residents of the City of Barstow.
