POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE

The Barstow Police Activities League will be re-opening the PAL After-School Program for the upcoming school year for children from 1st grade through 8th grade. The PAL Center is located at 685 N. 1st Avenue, next to the Harvey House.

The after-school program is open only on days when BUSD schools are in session. The hours of operation are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

This program is FREE!!

Transportation will be provided from each elementary school to the PAL Center.  Parents will be required to pick up their children, at the center, no later than 6:00 p.m. daily.

The PAL After-School Program offers homework assistance, tutoring, fun educational activities, drug and gang resistance programs, and a safe place for kids to go after school.  Applications for PAL membership can be picked up at the Barstow Police Department at 220 E. We will begin taking applications on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 7:30 a.m at the Barstow Police Department. Membership space is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
