Burrtec, in partnership with the City, is pleased to share the Commercial & Multi-Family Bulky Item Pick-Up Program - an expanded service for commercial and multi-family customers receiving bin service!  Any commercial business or multi-family complex receiving bin service can place unwanted bulky items next to the bin or bin enclosure and Burrtec will collect those items  on a weekly basis.  

The program is designed for discarded or illegally dumped bulky items, which are larger items that are not to be placed in the trash bin, as they require special handling.  The program is not designed for self-storage facility purges or excess items generated as part of the regular operation of thrift stores, furniture stores or appliance stores. 

Examples of bulky items include, but are not limited to:

• Chairs
• Couches
• Computers
• Desks
• Dishwashers
• Dressers
• Electronics 
• Furniture
• Washers & Dryers
• Mattresses 
• Microwaves
• Refrigerators
• Sofas
• Stoves
• Televisions
• Tires (Multi-family only - Maximum 4 standard size tires per pickup.  Tires generated by a commercial business are ineligible)
• Toys

Please do not place bulky items inside trash or recycling containers or place in any manner that would interfere with regular trash service. Collection will be provided once a week for all discarded or illegally dumped bulky items. This program is not designed for facility renovation waste.

Reminder:  Please place your items out the night before or by 6 am on your designated day. Customers that have items out for more than 24 hours will be subject to a code violation.
