AB 341 Mandatory Commercial Recycling

State Law requires businesses and other public entities to recycle as much of the waste they generate as possible. Assembly Bill 341 requires that businesses that generate 4 cubic yards or more of commercial solid waste per week or are a multifamily residential dwelling of 5+ units must now arrange for recycling services. The City of Barstow has an ordinance in place with more specific requirements, making recycling a mandatory service for ALL properties in the city.

If your business currently does not subscribe to recycling services, please contact the Utility Billing Department at 760-255-5162 to establish recycling service in compliance with the law.  There is no additional fee for this service.
