The City has been working closely with the owners of the Barstow Industrial Park to plan for the future development of the site.

Key accomplishments achieved in this past year include the following:

The City has coordinated the installation of electrical, water main, and sewer main utilities to the Barstow Industrial Park.

For the first time, complete utility access at the site is now available.

The city has coordinated the preparation of preliminary flood control/drainage improvement plans for the site.

Rail spur access issues have been further developed.

The work that has been completed has facilitated increased development interest at the Barstow Industrial Park.  Based on current discussions, several proposed projects at the site are anticipated to be announced in the near future.
