Recycling Zones

Recycling Market Development Z ones (RMDZ), available in the High Desert, were developed by the California Waste Management Board to make aid available to communities and businesses that use recycled materials such as paper, newsprint,  plastic, tires and greenwaste in the manufacture of goods.  Businesses locating with the RMDZ can take advantage of low-interest loan packaging, local permit streamlining, technical assistance and information sharing.
